Tom Hutton oversees Aveshka’s Consulting Services which supports Public Health, Public Safety and Security, Continuity of Government, Continuity of Operations and Critical Infrastructure Preparedness. At Aveshka, Tom is responsible for clients that include the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Justice, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI) United States Coast Guard, several Federal and Industry Financial Regulatory institutions, as well as the second largest school system in the United States.
Prior to joining Aveshka, he was Vice President of SRA for Emergency Preparedness and Response where he led programs to assess, develop and test emergency preparedness, crisis management, Continuity of Government, Continuity of Operations, Critical Infrastructure Protection, business continuity, and critical national security fusion center programs for Federal, State and local government, and major corporations in high-risk industries.
Tom and his wife Patrice live in Northern Virginia. Tom has a B.A. in Public Administration and an M.B.A in Business Management and Finance from American University.
